Larsen Magnacore

After many months of eager anticipation Larsen has finally shipped us their new Larsen G and C "Magnacore" cello strings.

They are warm and focused with exceptional string response at low volume all the way from pianissimo to mezzo forte. They play in quickly and exhibit none of the harshness that some players complain of in other brands of tungsten C and G strings...

Bogaro & Clemente, established in 1986 by Vittorio Clemente and Edi Bogaro, handcraft fittings in their state of the art workshop in North Eastern Italy. They use only the finest exotic woods ...

Micromesh…

We now stock micromesh sanding sheets and pads in various grades and sizes.

Pads come in 2"x2" & 3"x4" sizes - 12"x12" sheets are also available. Grades range from 2400 to 12000 grit.

We also carry a very useful micromesh flannel cloth and "Micro Gloss" Polish. Call or email us for details...

Stahlhammer Rods Are Now

Interchangeable...

Stahlhammer's new “exchangeable” cello endpin, allows a player to effortlessly switch between carbon fiber and metal tubes in a variety of lengths and colors. You can change endpin tubes/rods without loosening the strings on the cello. This was previously not possible on retractable angled “bent” endpins.

The new system allows cellists to easily try out and experiment with both aluminum rods and the carbon fiber version to decide which material will suit their particular cello. Every cello responds differently, so now players can quickly switch between the options and evaluate how their particular instrument reacts with reference to

sound quality, wolf tones etc. This also allows dealers to stock all the options without having to invest in many different endpins. Call or email us for details...

Red Label Pearl Strings...

Super Sensitive has introduced their newest string set which they are calling "Pearl". As the name suggests it's a synthetic core string with a very balanced sound. Each set comes with a silver D plus an extra E making it a great value. We have heard that these strings compare well with more expensive strings like Dominant & Vision...
